We Provide instruction; in Traditional Shito Ryu as a core curriculum, maintaining excellence in standard, Promote personal health physical fitness, and emotional and spiritual maturity without advocating specific religious affiliations, Offer martial arts, fitness and wellness classes and activities which complement the positive attitude, respectfulness, and work ethic of our organization, and which aid in supporting the Shito-Ryu program, Give a high priority to customer service by showing equal attention to each student's training, concern for individual accommodation, when possible, and encourage family involvement and to Organize extracurricular activities.
For many years, our Dojo has been an example in the field of Martial Arts, community and professional services. We train in Karate for self defense and well being, and to bring about change in the world. We have an Association of Shito Ryu practitioners who are really humble, of excellent character and who don't care for anything but the betterment of their students, and offer mainstream training . (Our Association AHJMAA)
Absorbing the best there is from old, and also from the young generation of Masters, we have upheld the traditions, we have maintained the highest standards, the purest technique, and we have an excellent training system.
We have encapsulated many years of training and expertise into a modern combination of self defense capability, and have placed these in the hands of those who search for a better way of "expressing the martial arts".
They are already making a difference!
"Our mission is to preserve, uphold and maintain, the existing traditions of the Martial Arts without prejudice or change, but, reserving ourselves the right to learn and develop new techniques and philosophies, in accordance to our guidelines and requirements.
Let the children grow with Martial Arts, knowing they are learning the sources of goodwill and compassion towards others, and where the ultimate goal is not the color of the belt, or how high he/she can kick, but rather the spiritual experience obtained while at training.
Let the women grow with a sense of security and self confidence, in the knowledge that what they have learnt, could one day save their lives.
Let men know of their shortcomings, and make them learn about justice, equality, caring and friendship. Let them share their skills with others, for the love of the Martial Arts.
And finally, let all of us, who are trying to preserve this wonderful Art, grow together rather than moving apart, so that everyone could benefit from this pool of knowledge. There's not such thing as "my style is better than...or I am the biggest and the best!" We all do well with what we've got"
