Heels together, & toes apart, (open foot stance) "knot" shape. Feet apart, parallel (open, hip width). Feet apart, toes pointing OUT at 45 degrees (open, shoulder width). Feet apart, toes pointing IN at 45 degrees (open, shoulder width). Straddle leg, "Sumo" stance. Front knee partially bent, forward stance (shorter than Zenkutsu dachi). Front knee bent, long forward stance. "Cat foot" stance. Inward tension stance. ("Hour glass" stance.) "Looking back" stance. ("Back stance".) Stance resembling the letter "L". Stance resembling the letter "T" upside down. "Hooked leg" stance. "Heron foot" stance (one-legged). Stance resembling Nekoashi dachi, but more upright in a loose floating leg stance. |
